Cylinder lifts to reveal a leather covered writing surface that pulls out to accomodate a chair.Several pigeon holes to store pens ect. All original including brass hardware. Three full width drawers on bottom. Beautiful piece of furniture.

RENFREW SCALES COFFEE TABLE. These scales were originally found on most farms circa 1910. They were used to weigh bags of seed, grain, whatever on the farm. They weighed up to 2000 lbs. Today they make great coffee tables. This one is completely restored including a new oak platform & oak handles.Finished in golden oak. House ready. No markings but it is very characteristic of the Horner Company.It has it all and more, massive carved winged griffins, lions heads, lions claws,incised carved panels. All original including the finish.
